Older siblings are more than welcome to attend and we have plenty of board games that they should enjoy.
The cafe will be open throughout the session offering hot drinks and snacks, but also nutritious and filling hot meals so you don’t have to sort dinner when you get home!

SEN Session
A closed session for families with neurodivergent children. We are aware that some children need a calmer environment in order for them to be able to fully express themselves.
We also hope you will have the opportunity to meet other parents who understand the difficult journey to access the support your children deserve.
We all know it take a village, but no more so than when you are trying to navigate the challenges of EHCP etc. Therefore we hope to also get professionals with experience in this area to attend some of these sessions so that you have the opportunity to get your questions answered.

Mums Meet Up
Come & join us for an evening of food, fun and meeting new friends!
Included in your ticket price we will be providing a grazing table of charcuterie, cheeses, breads and crackers and more for you to enjoy whilst meeting other mums.

Antenatal Course
A weekly in-person 9 week course led by professionals to help guide you through not only pregnancy and birth, but to also ensure you feel prepared for the fourth trimester and becoming parents.

Littlest Nooks Play & Support
A session for our Littlest Nooks to explore the space on their own, while you get to meet and chat with other parents whilst enjoying a drink and a nibble. Hopefully this will allow you to meet other parents at a similar stage along their family journey.
This session will be a chance for you to come and have an informal chat with a GP and Midwife. We will be there to offer general advice and support regarding the earlier stages of your journey in family life. Lucy Moggridge, our midwife, is also fully trained as an IBCLC and therefore can support you with any breastfeeding issues or concerns.
Baby scales will also be available for you to be able to weigh your baby.

A lovely time for your little ones ( aged between 0 -6 years) to play and explore to get those last wiggles of the day out!
After playing, they will be provided with a nutritious supper, so you don’t have to cook. The meal for your child is included in the price.
The cafe will be open throughout the session so you are able to get your own drinks and food.

Popolo Event
We are lucky to have the wonderful team from Popolo Worthing joining us at The Family Nook to take your little ones prints in paint.
They will help you to create beautiful keepsakes which you can treasure for years to come.
You can choose from a wide choice of ceramics such as plant pots, mugs and plates. These will then be returned to us at The Family Nook 2 weeks later for you to be able to collect.

Little Nook Crafting
The opportunity for your little ones to get crafting and use their imagination!
This session is aimed at children aged between 2 - 6 years, but older kids up to 8 years old are welcome to join if they fancy it.
Each session there will be a different theme to the crafting activity. Sometimes these will be about the season, others learning about the body or emotions and sometimes a surprise!
